Obituary for Celestion J. Slater
Some generations are represented by an icon. The 60s had The Beatles, the 70s had Jimi Hendrix, and we here in the 2000's had Celestion J. Slater.
The rumours about Celestion are even greater than the phenomenon of 'Chuck Norris Facts' - Some say he was an Immortal, and the chief inspiration behind the hit film 'Highlander'. Others have said that under the groovy clothes, he was secretly the first working example of human mechanical augmentation. A popular rumour is that he was a super-soldier, created by the government to win wars, but he broke away from that.
But whether none or all of these rumours are true doesn't matter. Celestion made
"I love you, mama." Little Gina Hartswyth, aged ten, hugged her dear mother. She soon turned to her father, shuffled over and hugged him too. "And I love papa as well." She chirped with a voice sweeter than pure sugar. Little Gina looked around at her empty, lifeless room and pouted adorably. She waddled back over to her beloved 'mama'. "I'm gonna paint with mama. Paint my room." She sang. Being uneducated on the use of paintbrushes and the like, the darling little girl dipped her hand into the paint and began the long job of painting the walls.
Time passed, as Gina's small arms became tired, but still she pressed on, handprint after handpri

Session 4: The New Goddess
The strange-jacket was starting to feel like normal clothing for me. By this point, I couldn't remember ever wearing anything else. My arms had long gone numb from lack of use, but I didn't care. I felt... Happy here, in this clean place. I was brought in by the big men and sat down. I couldn't wait to talk to Hazelnut, my guardian angel...
"Good day... 54, was it?" Hazelnut wasn't there. In her place was a strange man with shoulder-length, jet black hair. He looked boring, not like Hazelnut...
"Who are you?" I asked, anger present in my voice.
"Dr. John Adams." The boring man kept his business-face on all the time. Not like Hazelnut. Haz

Session 3: Happy 'Birthday'
I was brought into the clean room by the big men, in my strange-jacket of course. I was starting to get used to it - I still didn't understand the design of it, though. I sat down in the chair, Hazelnut's usual happy smile greeting me. "Hello, 54. I'm surprised you aren't happier today." I was kinda baffled.
"Huh?"
"Haven't you been keeping track?" I looked at the table in thought - Days had started to blend together, I couldn't remember how long I'd been here. "According to the little information we have on you, it's your birthday today."
"Birthday...?" I murmured - I'd never heard this word before...
"It's an occasion in which people ce

The men never let me out of the strange-jacket, not even when they brought me out of my room. I was brought back into the clean table room, and once again, I was sat down in front of Hazelnut. I think she noticed me smiling, because she began to smile a little too. "You seem happy today, 54."
"Couldn't wait to talk to you again." I replied simply and mysteriously. Hazelnut giggled softly, leaning forward.
"Why is that, then?"
"I saw her, Hazelnut." I mumbled. She looked at me quizzically.
"Her?" She repeated. I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, the Goddess you talked about. She wore a long white dress, and she was the prettiest girl I've ever seen..

Session 1: The 3 Steps
I was brought into the room, my arms restrained. This coat was impractical, why tie straps around my arms? That doesn't make sense from any design standpoint. Regardless, I was brought into the room by two big men, and sat down in a chair, a table between me and a professional-looking woman with short, chestnut-coloured hair. She had sensible glasses on, and a white coat. I wondered why I was here. Only the other day did they pick me up from the side of the road and put me in a big car, driving me to this wonderful, clean place. Everything was so pristine, they tried so very hard! I wonder how much they paid their cleaner-men...

Sometimes a good man goes rotten. Much like an apple - if left too long, a tasty, sweet apple can go bad. As a Mod who plays by his own rules, I've seen the best and worst of this town... And while this is nowhere near the worst - I think those rapists down south side took that dirty cake - it's definitely up there. It hurts your soul when a good mod goes bad. I knew him, I knew the guy. He was good, had a beard like nothing you've seen.
Which just made it all the worse.
